QUATSINO CALCAREOUS TUFF, LIMESTONE AND CALCAREOUS ARGILLITE ARE OVERLAIN BY DACITIC ROCKS OF THE BONANZA FORMATION. THE SEQUENCE STRIKES NORTHWEST- ERLY AND IS NEARLY VERTICAL. IT IS FOLDED AND CUT BY FELDSPAR PORPHYRY DYKES. MAGNETITE-ACTINOLITE SKARN ZONES WITHIN THE QUATSINO FORMATION CONTAIN CONCENTRATIONS OF PYRITE, CHALCOPYRITE, AND MINOR BORNITE.
