Geological Summary |
THE CENTRAL PART OF THE CLAIMS IS UNDERLAIN BY A STOCK OF PORPHYRITIC GRANITE OF THE NELSON PLUTONICS. REST OF THE PROPERTY IS UNDELAIN BY SLOCAN GROUP SEDIMENTARY ROCKS STRIKING NORTHWEST AND DIPPING TO THE SOUTHWEST. AT THE CONTACT WITH THE INTRUSIVES THE SLOCAN ROCKS ARE TYPICALLY HIGHLY METAMORPHOSED AND CONTORTED. LEAD AND SILVER MINERALIZATION OCCURS IN VEINS CUTTING BOTH THE SLOCAN AND THE INTRUSIVE ROCKS.
