Geological Summary |
ANARCHIST GROUP ROCKS (PERMIAN?) ARE THE OLDEST ON THE PROPERTY. A CONTACT IS PRESENT WITH VALHALLA PLUTONIC ROCKS (CRETACEOUS?) IN THE SOUTHWEST PART OF THE PROPERTY. THE WESTERN HALF IS COVERED BY THE KETTLE RIVER FORMATION. THIS IS OF INTEREST BECAUSE OF VOLCANIC VENTS, AROUND WHICH ECONOMIC MINERALIZATION MAY OCCUR. GEOCHEM- ICAL AND GEOPHYSICAL SURVEYS INDICATE A STRONG ANOMALOUS ZONE.
