SEDIMENTARY ROCKS OF THE MOUNT ROBERTS FORMATION (PENNSYLVANIAN) ARE OVERLAIN BY THE VOLCANIC ROSSLAND FORMATION (LOWER JURASSIC). THESE ROCKS ARE INTRUDED BY FIVE DIFFERENT INTRUSIONS. MOST OF THIS AREA IS TRAVERSED BY FAULTS. PYRITE, ARSENOPYRITE AND SOME GOLD MINERALIZATION IS ASSOCIATED WITH THE FAULTS.
