THE CLAIM IS UNDERLAIN BY A SERIES OF WEAKLY ALTERED VOLCANIC AND SEDIMENTARY ROCKS OF THE TAKLA GROUP (UPPER TRIASSIC). A NORTHWEST STRIKING QUARTZ VEIN STRUCTURE OCCURS IN A SHEAR ZONE 10 METRES WIDE CUTTING QUARTZ-SERICITE SCHIST. THE VEIN IS MINERALIZED WITH GOLD, PYRITE, GALENA AND CHALCOPYRITE.
