| Geological Summary |
A DOMINANT FEATURE IS THE FLAT-LYING (TERTIARY) UNCONFORMITY BETWEEN FELSIC TO INTERMEDIATE MASSET VOLCANIC AND PYROCLASTIC ROCKS, AND UNDERLYING MARINE SEDIMENTARY ROCKS (MESOZOIC). THESE ROCKS ARE CUT BY SULPHIDE-BEARING RHYOLITIC DYKES, A SMALL DIORITIC STOCK, AND TWO STRONG NORTHERLY TRENDING FAULTS.
