THE UNDERLYING ROCKS CONSIST OF GABBRO, CHLORITE- EPIDOTE CATACLASITES AFTER ANDESITE-BASALT LAVAS WITH GRAPHITE, CHERT AND PYRITE INCLUSIONS, GRAN- ITIC DYKES AND LHERZOLITE PIPES. FLOAT ROCKS CONTAIN DISSEMINATED PYRITE, PYRRHOTITE, PENTLAN- DITE AND VIOLARITE. A MAGNETIC ANOMALY OCCURS IN THE SAME AREA AS THE MINERALIZED FLOAT.
