Geological Summary |
THE SLOCAN SEDIMENTARY ROCKS (TRIASSIC) ARE INTRUDED BY PORPHYRY DYKES. IN ONE LOCATION ON THE ARGENTA CLAIM SOME SEMI-MASSIVE LEAD-ZINC- SILVER WAS FOUND ALONG AN OLD ROAD CUT. A GEO- CHEMICAL ANOMALOUS ZONE IS UNDERLAIN BY QUARTZITE AND PHYLLITE, AND APPEARS TO BE CUT OFF TO THE WEST BY A NORTHERLY TRENDING FAULT ZONE.
