Geological Summary |
The claims are underlain by schists, phyllites and greenstones derived from sedimentary and volcanic rocks of the (Paleozoic) Eagle Bay Formation. The formation is tightly folded long northeast axis, and cut by north striking fault. Pyrite mineralization is confined to schist and greenstone. Geochemical results indicate a gold anomaly.
