Geological Summary |
The claim is underlain by granodiorite of the Nelson Plutonic Complex as described by GSC Map 15-1961. A roof pendant of metasedimentary rocks related to the (Triassic) Nicola Group lies in the north central portion of the claim. A major east trending shear zone/quartz vein cuts the sediments. In addition, pyrite, galena and sphalerite mineralization was noted in these rocks. Geochemical analyses of rock chips from one location returned anomalous gold, silver, lead, zinc and arsenic values.
