Geological Summary |
Overburden is extensive. A northwest trending thick sequence of Upper Triassic-Lower Jurassic age volcaniclastic and sedimentary rocks lie in the Quesnel Trough. Rocks of the trough are intruded by coeval small alkalic stocks of diorite-pyroxinite composition, and younger granitic plutons. Geophysical survey results indicate areas of possible disseminated sulphide/gold mineralization.
