Geological Summary
THE PROPERTY IS UNDERLAIN BY A MAJOR NORTH- TRENDING CONTACT BETWEEN MAFIC VOLCANIC ROCKS AND LIMESTONE, CLASTICS, CHERTS AND PHYLLITES OF THE (LATE DEVONIAN TO EARLY MISSISSIPPIAN AGE) EAGLE BAY FORMATION. THE ROCKS DIP 25 DEGREES EASTWARD. WEAKLY DISSEMINATED CUBES OF PYRITE ARE BELIEVED TO BE DIAGENETIC. GEOCHEMICAL RESULTS ARE LOW, BUT GEOPHYSICAL RESULTS SHOW AN ANOMALOUS AREA IN THE VICINITY OF A CHERT HORIZON AND THE VOLCANIC SEDI- MENTARY ROCK CONTACT.
