THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY A SEQUENCE OF INTER- MEDIATE TO FELSIC VOLCANIC ROCKS LOCATED BETWEEN THE JACKASS MOUNTAIN GROUP CONGLOMERATES TO THE WEST AND (UPPER JURASSIC) EAGLE GRANODIORITE STOCK TO THE EAST. TO THE SOUTH INTRUSIVE ROCKS CUT SEDIMENTS (AND TUFFS) WHICH ARE SELECTIVELY HORN- FELSED. EAGLE GRANODIORITE AND PORPHYRY DYKES, HORNFELS AND LOCAL BRECCIA PIPES CONTAIN FRACTURE CONTROLLED AND DISSEMINATED PYRITE (1-10%) AND TRACE CHALCOPYRITE.
