THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY (MIDDLE TRIASSIC) FERGUSON GROUP ROCKS LOCATED AT THE WESTERNMOST MARGIN OF THE BENDOR INTRUSION. THE ROCKS ARE COMPRISED OF ANDESITE AND CHERT (FERGUSSON) AND DIORITE AND QUARTZ DIORITE SILLS, DYKES AND BATH- OLITH INTRUSIONS (BENDOR). THE STRATIGRAPHY IS NORTHWEST TRENDING, WELL FOLIATED AND CUT BY TWO STRIKE-SLIP FAULTS. ARSENOPYRITE, SPHALERITE, BORNITE, PYRITE, STIBNITE AND BOULANGERITE MIN- ERALIZATION OCCUR IN ANDESITE AND CHERT AND PYRRHOTITE IS FOUND IN ALL UNITS.
