THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY (JURASSIC) BONANZA ANDESITIC TUFFS AND SOME COEVAL INTRUSIONS. THE VOLCANICS ARE WEAKLY PROPYLITICALLY ALTERED AND WITH ZONES OF INTENSE SILICIFICATION AND A FEW COINCIDENT ZONES OF CLAY ALTERATION. LOCAL FRAG- MENTAL AND RHYOLITIC UNITS ARE PRESENT. PYRITE MINERALIZATION OCCURS AS BANDS, DISSEMINATIONS AND VEINS. VALUES FOR BARITE, ARSENIC, COPPER AND MOLYBDENUM AND COBALT ARE ANOMALOUS LOCALLY IN THE ROCKS.
