Geological Summary
THE PROPERTY IS UNDERLAIN BY CRETACEOUS AGE GRANO- DIORITE, AND TERTIARY CONGLOMERATE, DACITE FLOWS AND BASALT FLOWS. THE TERIARY ROCKS ARE PART OF A COLLAPSED CALDERA SEQUENCE AND ARE BLOCK-FAULTED AND SHEARED. THE FAULT AND SHEAR ZONES MAY BE QUARTZ FLOODED AND THE WALL ROCKS MAY BE ALTERED AND BRECCIATED. ANOMALOUS GOLD VALUES IN SOILS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH FAULT ZONES ON THE EASTERN SIDE OF THE CALDERA. ARSENIC-ANTIMONY-MERCURY ANOMALIES WERE ALSO OUTLINED FROM THE SOIL GEOCHEMICAL SURVEY.
