SHALLOW DIPPING TAKLA GROUP VOLCANICS CONSISTING OF A LOWER ANDESITIC FRAGMENTAL PACKAGE AND UPPER MAFIC FRAGMENTAL PACKAGE ARE SEPARATED BY A PROMINENT CALCAREOUS ASH TUFF AND ARGILLITE MARKER UNIT. PYRITIC TUFFS AT THE BASE OF THIS UNIT CONTAIN WEAKLY ANOMALOUS COPPER VALUES. THRUST FAULTS CAUSE ABRUPT THICKENING OF THESE ROCKS.
