THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY ROCKS OF THE ALEX- ANDER TERRANE CONSISTING OF LIMESTONES, PELITIC ASSEMBLAGES, MAFIC VOLCANIC ROCKS AND GRANITIC INTRUSIONS. THESE ROCKS RANGE IN AGE FROM LATE CAMBRIAN TO LATE TRIASSIC. MASSIVE SULFIDE BOULDERS ARE COMMON AT THE TERMINUS OF THE EAST ARM GLACIER. NO SOURCE OF THE FLOAT WAS FOUND. MUCH OF THE CLAIM IS COVERED BY GLACIERS AND SNOW- FIELDS.
