THE PROPERTY IS UNDERLAIN BY PALEOZOIC AGE VOLCANICS AND SEDIMENTS OF THE SICKER GROUP. INTRUSIVE SILL-LIKE BODIES OF GABBRO-DIORITE OCCUR THROUGHOUT THE SEQUENCE. THESE ROCKS ARE THOUGHT TO FORM TIGHT, NEAR-VERTICAL FOLDS. MINERALIZATION CONSISTS OF NEAR VERTICAL SHEARS WITH CHALCOPYRITE AND SPHALERITE. ILMENITE OCCURS IN THE INTRUSIVE UNIT.
