THE CLAIM IS UNDERLAIN BY (PALEOZOIC) CACHE CREEK ROCKS, COMPRISED OF ARGILLITE, QUARTZITE, LIME- STONE, CONGLOMERATE, BRECCIA, GREENSTONE AND SERPENTINE. THE CACHE CREEK ROCKS ARE INTRUDED BY SMALL BODIES OF GRANITE, GRANODIORITE OR GABBRO OF THE COAST INTRUSIONS. GOLD AND SILVER-BEARING QUARTZ VEINS CONTAINING PYRITE, GALENA, SPHALERITE, ARSENOPYRITE AND PYRRHOTITE ARE PRESENT.
