THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY BASALT FLOWS AND TUFFACEOUS INTERBEDS OF THE KARMUTSEN FORMATION AND CONGLOMERATE, SANDSTONE, SILTSTONE AND SHALE OF THE NANAIMO GROUP. THE NANAIMO GROUP OF ROCKS UNCONFORMABLY OVERLIE KARMUTSEN VOLCANICS AND BOTH ARE BLOCK FAULTED. AN EXTENSIVE NORTHEASTERLY TRENDING ANKERITE AND SILICEOUS ALTERATION ZONE IS LOCATED ON THE RINA 3 CLAIM.
