Geological Summary
THE BEDROCK OF THE PROPERTY CONSISTS OF UNITS OF CUNNINGHAM LIMESTONE AND PHYLLITE, QUARTZITE, ARGILLITE AND SLATE OF THE (CAMBRIAN) CARIBOO GROUP. THE NORTHERLY TRENDING LOWHEE FAULT TRANS- ECTS THE CLAIM BLOCK. GRAPHITIC SCHISTS, DERIVED FROM ALTERED ARGILLITES, ARE PRESENT WHERE THE LOWHEE FAULT INTERSECTS NORTHEASTERLY TRENDING STRUCTURES. THE SCHISTS HOST QUARTZ VEINS AND ZONES OF DISSEMINATED TO MASSIVE PYRITE AND MINOR GALENA. VLF-ELECTROMAGNETIC CONDUCTORS WERE DETECTED IN THE WESTERN SURVEY AREA, BUT FURTHER WORK IS REQUIRED TO DEFINE THEIR SOURCE.
