Geological Summary
THE PROPERTY IS UNDERLAIN BY COMPLEXLY FOLDED AND FAULTED (UPPER CRETACEOUS) KINGSVALE GROUP ANDESITIC VOLCANICS. THESE ROCKS ARE INTRUDED BY THE COAST RANGE BATHOLITH AND BY NUMEROUS DYKES, PLUGS AND STOCKS WHICH POSTDATE THE BATHOLITH. FIVE MINERAL SHOWINGS HAVE BEEN LOCATED TO DATE WHICH ARE PRIMARILY QUARTZ VEINS WITH TETRAHE- DRITE, CHALCOPYRITE, MOLYBDENITE, GALENA AND SPHALERITE (OR VARIOUS COMBINATIONS THEREOF). GEOCHEMICAL ANALYSES OF VEIN MATERIAL RETURNED HIGH VALUES IN SILVER, COPPER AND GOLD. THREE OF THE VEINS CONTAIN GREATER THAN 44.6 GRAMS/TONNE SILVER.
