THE TSIRKU-JARVIS AREA IS UNDERLAIN BY A SEDIMENT- ARY VOLCANIC COMPLEX OF PALEOZOIC TO UPPER TRIAS- SIC AGE WHICH IS PART OF THE "ALEXANDER TERRANE". MINERALIZATION OCCURS AT THE CONTACT BETWEEN PILLOWS, FLOWS AND SEDIMENTARY ROCKS.
