TUFFACEOUS AND ANDESITIC MEMBERS OF THE UNUK RIVER FORMATION ARE INTRUDED AND ALTERED RESPECT- IVELY BY GRANITIC AND SYENODIORITIC ROCKS OF THE COAST INTRUSIONS, AND BY SHEARING. SMALL AMOUNTS OF IRON SULPHIDE MINERALS WERE FOUND IN THE VICINITY OF OUTCROPS OF BASALTIC ANDESITE AND A BROAD ZONE OF INTENSE SHEARING. NO SIGNIFICANT COPPER, LEAD, ZINC, SILVER AND GOLD ASSAYS WERE RETURNED FROM SAMPLED BEDROCK.
