THE PROPERTY IS UNDERLAIN BY STRONGLY DEFORMED FELSIC TO INTERMEDIATE VOLCANIC ROCKS OF PROBABLE PALEOZOIC AGE. WITHIN THE CENTRAL PART OF THE CLAIM AREA A COARSE, FELSIC AGGLOMERATE UNIT IS FLANKED BY CRYSTAL AND LAPILLI TUFFS WITH INTER- BEDS OF VOLCANICLASTIC SEDIMENT AND GRAPHITIC PHYLLITE.
