THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY THE STIKINE ASSEMBLAGE OF PRE-UPPER TRIASSIC AGE INTERMEDIATE TO MAFIC VOLCANICS, PHYLLITES AND PERMIAN LIMESTONES. HYDROTHERMAL FLUIDS APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN CONCEN- TRATED ALONG MAJOR NORTH-SOUTH STRUCTURES WHICH CUT THIS ASSEMBLAGE. GOLD, SILVER AND COPPER VALUES HAVE BEEN LOCATED ALONG SOME OF THESE STRUCTURES.
