TRIASSIC ANDESITIC FLOWS AND INTERCALATED SILT- STONES HAVE BEEN INTRUDED BY STOCKS AND DYKES OF DIORITIC COMPOSITION - PYRITE IS PERVASIVE AND MASSIVE SULPHIDE HORIZONS HAVE BEEN INTERSECTED NEAR THE ANDESITE - SILTSTONE CONTACT. DRILL TESTING OF THE VARIOUS GEOLOGICAL TARGETS HAS INDICATED THE SULPHIDE-QUARTZ LODE SYSTEMS TO BE OF ECONOMIC POTENTIAL. ASSAYS FROM THE BEST DRILL INTERSECTIONS RETURNED UP TO 1.7% COPPER, 2.3% ZINC, 4 GRAMS/TONNE GOLD AND 222 GRAMS/TONNE SILVER OVER 5.6 METRES.
