THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY (1) UPPER TRIASSIC- NICOLA GROUP SILICEOUS SEDIMENTS, LIMESTONE AND VOLCANICS INTRUDED BY BIOTITE GRANODIORITE OF THE JURASSIC COAST RANGE INTRUSIONS. PYRITE AND/OR PYRRHOTITE IS COMMON IN THE NICOLA GROUP ROCKS. GRAPHITE IS ALSO PRESENT IN SOME OF THE NICOLA GROUP SEDIMENTS. GARNET-PYROXENE SKARN IS PRESENT IN AT LEAST ONE PORTION OF THE CLAIMS. A SMALL SHOWING OF MASSIVE MAGNETITE +/- PYRRHOTITE, PYRITE AND CHALCOPYRITE IS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SKARN. MINOR PYRITE IN QUARTZ WITHIN GRANODIORITE CARRIES SOME GOLD VALUES.
