KARMUTSEN ANDESITES ARE INTRUDED BY DIORITE OF THE JURASSIC ISLAND INTRUSIONS. A SHEAR ZONE IS MINER- ALIZED BY QUARTZ-CARBONATE VEINS WITH PYRITE, CHALCOPYRITE (MINOR) AND ARSENOPYRITE WITH GOLD VALUES. THE 200 METRE LONG STRUCTURE STRIKES EAST- WEST.
