JURASSIC AGE ANDESITES AND SILTSTONES SHOW A LARGE ALTERATION ZONE OF DISSEMINATED PYRITE ALONG A REGIONAL SHEAR ZONE. THE ROCKS ARE ALTERED TO PYRITE-SERICITE-QUARTZ SCHIST. MINERALIZATION CONSISTS MAINLY OF QUARTZ-CARBONATE VEINS WITH AURI-ARGENTIFEROUS GALENA, CHALCOPYRITE, AND SPHALERITE.
