THE CLAIM AREA IS UNDERLAIN BY METASEDIMENTARY AND METAVOLCANIC ROCKS OF THE (LATE TERTIARY) SKULL HILL FORMATION AND SEDIMENTARY AND VOLCANIC ROCKS OF THE (PENNSYLVANIAN OR PERMIAN) CACHE CREEK GROUP. LATE FELDSPAR PORPHYRY DYKES ARE ALSO PRESENT. QUARTZ VEINS WHICH STRIKE NORTHWESTERLY CONTAIN GOLD AND SILVER VALUES AND GALENA AND ARE HOSTED BY METAANDESITE. A FEW ANOMALOUS GOLD VALUES AND THREE NORTHWESTERLY TRENDING ZONES OF MODERATELY ANOMALOUS COPPER VALUES IN SOILS WERE OUTLINED IN THE AREA OF THE SHOWINGS.
