THE PROPERTY IS UNDERLAIN BY THE LOWER CAMBRIAN LAIB FORMATION CONSISTING OF ARGILLITES, LIME- STONE, DOLOMITE, PHYLLITE AND SCHISTS WHICH IN TURN ARE OVERLAIN BY ANDESITES, BASALTS, FLOW BRECCIAS, AUGITE PORPHYRYS, AGGLOMERATES AND TUFFS OF THE LOWER JURASSIC ROSSLAND GROUP. GRANITE- 0 GRANODIORITE STOCKS OF THE NELSON PLUTONIC ROCKS ALSO OCCUR. THE SOIL SURVEY RETURNED NEGLIGIBLE BASE AND PRECIOUS METAL VALUES. A COINCIDENT MAGNETIC ANOMALY AND ELECTROMAGNETIC CONDUCTOR WAS LOCATED.
