THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY LOWER JURASSIC TAKLA GROUP ROCKS WHICH ARE INTRUDED BY CRETACEOUS OMINECA INTRUSIONS. THE DOMINANT LITHOLOGY IS A PURPLE ANDESITE TUFF AND AGGLOMERATE INTRUDED BY A FELDSPAR PORPHYRY DIORITE. SHEAR ZONES WITH ASSOC- IATED CHLORITE, CARBONATE AND SILICA ALTERATION ARE MINERALIZED WITH PYRITE AND CHALCOPYRITE AND CARRY ANOMALOUS GOLD AND SILVER VALUES.
