THE MAUSER CLAIM IS UNDERLAIN BY TAKLA GROUP ARGILLITES, TUFFS AND BRECCIAS WHICH ARE INTRUDED BY JURA-CRETACEOUS AGE DIORITES AND MONZONITES. MINERALIZATION CONSISTS OF DISSEMINATIONS OF CHAL- COPYRITE IN ARGILLITES AT THE CONTACT WITH THE IGNEOUS ROCKS, AND PYRITIC MINERALIZATION WITHIN QUARTZ STOCKWORKS IN ARGILLITES.
