A SEQUENCE OF ANDESITIC TO RHYOLITIC VOLCANICS OCCUR INTERCALATED WITH CLASTIC SEDIMENTS WHICH BELONG TO THE DEVONO-MISSISSIPPIAN AGE EAGLE BAY FORMATION. THE ROCKS DIP MODERATELY TO THE NORTH- NORTHWEST AND ARE FOLDED ABOUT EAST-WEST TRENDING F2 FOLD AXES. SMALL LENSES OF STRATIFORM MASSIVE SULPHIDE MINERALIZATION OCCUR IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO THE ANDESITE-SEDIMENT CONTACT, AND STOCKWORK TYPE SPHALERITE-GALENA MINERALIZATION IS HOSTED BY RHYOLITES.
