THE UNDERLYING NELSON GRANITES (CRETACEOUS) AND CORYELL SYENITE (EOCENE) ARE GENERALLY MASSIVE WITH CERTAIN SECTIONS EXHIBITING SHEARING AND MODERATE SILICIFICATION. SULPHIDE MINERALIZATION OCCUR WITHIN QUARTZ-RICH FRACTURES AND SHEARS. THERE ARE ISOLATED REMNANTS OF ANARCHIST GROUP (TRIASSIC) AND MOUNT ROBERTS FORMATION (CARBON- ACEOUS) VOLCANICS AND SEDIMENTS. OLD WORKINGS ARE ON NORTHEAST TRENDING SHEARS, SILICIFIED AND WEAKLY MINERALIZED WITH PYRITE AND PYRRHOTITE.
