THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY THE SINWA AND INKLIN FORMATIONS OF THE LOWER MESOZOIC KING SALMON ASSEMBLAGE. THESE UNITS, LIMESTONE AND GREYWACKE RESPECTIVELY ARE FOLDED ALONG A NORTHWESTERLY AXIS PARALLEL TO THE KING SALMON THRUST FAULT SOUTH OF THE PROPERTY. MINERALIZATION CONSISTING OF TETRA- HEDRITE, MINOR GALENA, SPHALERITE AND PYRITE OCCUR IN QUARTZ VEINS, STOCKWORKS AND SILICEOUS REPLACE- MENT ZONES WITHIN THE SINWA FORMATION LIMESTONES SUBPARALLEL AND ADJACENT TO THE CONTACT WITH THE OVERLYING INKLIN FORMATION GREYWACKE.
