Geological Summary |
THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY HIGHLY METAMORPHOSED FELSIC VOLCANICS OF THE UPPER PALEOZOIC CENTRAL GNEISS COMPLEX. MINERALIZATION CONSISTS OF MASSIVE PYRITE, CHALCOPYRITE AND SPHALERITE AND OCCURS IN A ZONE THAT STRIKES NORTH AND DIPS STEEPLY TO THE EAST. PETROGRAPHIC WORK SUGGESTS A VOLCANOGENIC MASSIVE SULPHIDE ORIGIN FOR MINERALIZATION.
