THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY TWO LARGE EOCENE QUARTZ-FELDSPAR PORPHYRY INTRUSIONS EMPLACED INTO COARSE, POORLY SORTED GREYWACKE OF THE LOWER CRETACEOUS JACKASS MOUNTAIN GROUP. ARGILLIC ALTERATION OCCURS NEAR THE INTRUSIVE - SEDIMENT CONTACT. COINCIDENT COPPER-GOLD SOIL ANOMALIES WERE IDENTIFIED.
