Deformed argillite, limestone and tuff of the Hazelton Group, are intruded by green felsic dykes of granodiorite composition, that are locally bleached. Galena, pyrite, tetrahedrite and minor chalcopyrite occur associated with quartz and calcite in fractures, bedding fractures, shears and fissures. Native gold, silver and rare electrum have also been reported.
