THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY LOWER CAMBRIAN META- SEDIMENTS. CHALCOPYRITE OCCURS IN SEVERAL NORTH- WESTERLY TRENDING, STEEPLY DIPPING QUARTZ-CARBON- ATE VEINS IN PHYLLITIC ROCKS AT THE HINGE OF AN ANTICLINE. THE VEINS ARE UP TO TWO METRES WIDE.
