Geological Summary |
The claims are underlain by Proterozoic to early Paleozoic metasediments and metavolcanics of the Kootenay Arc, intruded by Lower Cretaceous quartz diorites of the Nelson Batholith. Massive to semi-massive sulphide mineralization occurs in sheared metasediments and quartz-diorite intrusives. The induced polarization survey detected several zones where apparent resistivities tend to represent oxidized sulphides.
