Geological Summary
The claims are underlain by metasediments and metavolcanics of the Ecstall Pendant, Central Gneiss Complex of possible early Paleozoic to early Mesozoic age. The metamorphic grade is greenschist to amphibolite. Foliation and bedding strike northerly and dip steeply to the east.
