Geological Summary
The claims are underlain by Upper Devonian Myra Formation felsic to intermediate volcanics and the Pennsylvanian "Sediment-Sill Unit". Young gabbro intrusions cut the succession. Pyrite stringers and locally banded sulphides including pyrite with minor chalcopyrite and sphalerite occur in felsic volcanics. At the Anita showing a 13.7 metre shaft was driven on a massive pyrrhotite lens in the early 1900's. Local felsic volcanics in the area display strong alteration.
