Geological Summary
The claims are underlain by intrusive rocks of the Middle Jurassic Tulameen Ultramafic Complex with minor mixed metavolcanic rocks of the Upper Triassic Nicola Group. The dominant lithology is a dunite core surrounded by shells of pyroxenite and gabbro. Platinum is associated with chromite pods and lenses which show no systematic distribution in the dunite mass. Serpentinization is common.
