Geological Summary
Quartz veins, stringers and zones of silicification occur in faults near the Upper Triassic-Lower Jurassic Parson Bay Formation sedimentary contact with overlying Lower Jurassic Bonanza Group andesitic green to maroon volcanic and epiclastic rocks. Subvolcanic dacite and quartz diorite dykes intrude the Bonanza Group rocks. Extensive pyrophyllite occurs as local alteration.
