The claims are underlain by volcanic rocks of the Lower Jurassic Hazelton Group and granitic and dioritic rocks possibly related to Eocene Nanika intrusions. Tetrahedrite-bearing volcanic breccia and quartz-galena and quartz-chalcopyrite veins containing gold and silver values occupy north-trending structures.
