Paleozoic gneisses juxtapositioned against Lower Cretaceous andesitic-dacitic volcanics are intruded by stocks or plugs of granodiorite, quartz diorite or diorite. North trending dykes and shears cut the units. Pyrite and base metal mineralization with associated clay alteration and silicification form numerous small occurrences in fractures, shears and veins.
