Geological Summary
The claims are underlain by Paleozoic schists, greenstones, augite porphyry and gneiss of greenschist to amphibolite grade metamorphism, and fine to coarse-grained quartz dioritic to granodioritic intrusive rocks of the Upper Cretaceous Coast Plutonic Complex. Gold and silver-bearing sulphide mineralization occurs in quartz veins, which are controlled by northeasterly to northwesterly trending fault and shear structures.
